Don't Auto arrange at Container creation [message #1736243]

Hi all,

everytime I create a new Instance from a Container Creation Tool from the palette, the new container isn't created at the position where I dropped my mouse but somewhere randomly in my diagram.

How to make sure that new containers are rendered at my desired position?

Is the "snap to grid" enabled [1] ? This can explain this "random" behavior.

The container should be rendered at the desired position (except with
"snap" features).

Thanks for your help.

Diabling the "snap to grid" did not work.

But I found the issue.
I used Java Services to initialize my new EObject with some other EObject contents.
Turns out I have to perform these init Operation first, bevor adding the new EObject to it's parent to prevent this behavior.
