No palette when editing model [message #1734301] Mon, 06 June 2016 20:55 Go to next message

I am new to Papyrus. I running Mars.2 and I added all the Papyrus components from Install new Software.

I followed a tutorial on Getting Started with Papyrus Modeling. I created the model and when I opened it, there is supposed to be a palette on the right side of the window. I have no palette.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to fix this problem?

Thanks, in advance.

Hi,

I think by default you won't see the palette as you don't have an open diagram. If you look at the "Model Explorer" (Window -> Show View -> Model Explorer if not visible), you should see the top level element of your model (which looks like a package). Right-Click on this to create a new diagram and an editor should open with a palette customised for the type of diagram you have created.

Regards,
Dan

You should also make sure you have the Papyrus perspective open.
