does debugging using xdebug with Eclipse work for you?
I'm tweaking and tweaking and it always gets stuck @ "Wating for XDebug session".
Whether on local or remote server it never gets pass, I'm beginning to thing it must a bug.

for sharing thoughts & suggestions,
many thanks.

By default xdebug isn't ready for remote (IDE) debugging. See this tutorial: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Debugging_using_XDebug
