Eclipse IDE for Java Developers doesn't download [message #1722752]

So whenever I try to download the Eclipse IDE for Java Developers, I get this message.

Whether I click yes or no, the window closes and I notice no change. I tried, as an experiment, to download the Java EE, which worked fine.

Sorry, I had to use a screenshot because I can only use links to eclipse.org sites when I have fewer than 5 messages.

Have you considered downloading the pre-built package from download.eclipse.org instead?

Hi Jon,

Your installer seems to be very old. Can you try a newer one from https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Installer ?
