Hi All,

I am using the latest stable version of Papyrus for win-64 (1.1.4).
I am not able to define either a trace or a refine dependency in the requirements diagram. I cannot find any of these dependencies in the palette. Also, if I create a generic dependency and then I try to apply a stereotype the list of applicable stereotypes does not include either refine or trace.

Thanks.

Hi,

For information: The latest stable version is Papyrus 1.1.3 (Eclipse Mars), Papyrus 1.1.4 will be included in Mars 2 release. at the end of this month
see https://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/development/plans/freeze_plan_4_5_2.php

Are you using SysML 1.1 shipped with papyrus 1.1.3 or the incubating component SysML 1.4 ?

There is no stereotype trace or refine in SysML 1.1, so you won't find them in the palette. (Maybe you are referring to the one present in the Standard UML profile?)

On the other hand they are present in SysML 1.4 component.
You can try it there http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/papyrus/components/sysml14/

Regards,

Hi Roberto,

the Standard profile is probably not applied on your model. To apply it:
- open the Property View
- select the root model in the Model Explorer
- in the Profile tab of the property view, select the 'Apply registered profile' button (the one with the blue and yellow colors)
- select the 'Standard' profile to be applied, press ok
- in the next dialog, select the checkbox to indicate that you want to apply the profile 'standard', press OK
You should now have access to trace and refine stereotypes

Regards,
Rémi

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

I have installed SysML 1.4 component from
http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/papyrus/components/sysml14/

However, I cannot find the node "ItemFlow" in the block palette for SysML 1.4 Internal Block Diagram. ItemFlows are describe at pag 72 of SysML 1.4 spec, and the graphical aspect is show at pag 75 of the same specs.

Has anybody else had to deal with ItemFlows?

Regards,
Roberto

Hi,

I found it, but it uses at different graphical notation then the one described in the specs.
In Papyrus the ItemFlow is represented by showing the stereotype <<ItemFlow>> rather than using a solid arrow.

R

Hi Roberto,

That is a known bug. See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=472150 (and the linked forum discussion).
