Can Doxygen work w/PHP? [message #1716065]

It's been a while since I've used Doxygen, but I don't remember being able to express types in a parseable way. In any case, when I Google for it, it seems that the only stuff supporting Doxygen in Eclipse PDT is old.
I'm running Mars.1 Release (4.5.1) in Ubuntu 15.10 64-bit, and PHP 5.3.
