Hey there, so I recently reset my PC and of course it removed my Eclipse. But I downloaded it again, and it doesn't open, and shows an error.

This is the error code I get:

Java was started but returned exit code= 13

(But further download it says:)
-Dosgi.requiredJavaVersion=1.7

I don't know what this means, but hopefully one of you guys do.

I mainly use Eclipse to code Java Plugins, for Minecraft servers.

The Eclipse I downloaded was this one, but I'm not sure it's the right one for what I need to code plugins:

Thanks for your help!

Tom,

Thomas,

This is the most common question on the eclipse.newcomers forum and
there is a sticky post that describes the problem. Most likely you
don't have the right version of Java installed, either you have an old
version or the wrong bitness relative to the Eclipse you've downloaded.
