Hi,

I have created a uml profile which is applied on sysml model.

Now I want to transform my model to Ecore in such away that the apllied profile also gets transformed with the model..

How would I achieve that?
Any help would be appreciated..

Hi Ali,

A profile make sense only on an UML model [1] (You can check OMG website for more information)
You can find an example of UML->Ecore transformation in the org.eclipse.uml2.examples.uml.ui plugin.

What result do you expect in your transformation ?

Hi

The default UML to Ecore translation weaves the profile into the Ecore
so that there is no residual need for profiles.

If you are really determined to have EMF Profiles you could look at the
EMF Profiles project.
