As I know, there are two ways to make jar file become executable (EXE/Bin):

1.under windows, use exe4j; and
2.create a RCP product for both linux and windows.

I want to know how to get the name of the executable file, for both kinds
shown above.

The Eclipse launcher puts the launcher path at the 'eclipse.launcher' property.
