Hello everyone,

this is my first question ever to this forum and I hope and I posting in the right one.

I use OSX and need to get Eclipse primarily to use PyDev for Python. I have not found the Eclipse Standard in the downloads, I found EE, Java, Scout, etc.

Which Eclipse Mars suitable for PyDev?

Thanks in advance

Any one you like. PyDev is just a plug-in or two that enables Eclipse to
do Python development better. I would use one of the versions of Eclipse
for Java, but then, that's because I'm primarily a Java developer. You
could use Eclipse for C/C++. It's no matter.
