I chose the node 'area' and copy/ paste in the diagram.
Assume that node which was created after copy/paste node 'area' named 'new'

As a result, layout of node 'new' is different from layout of node 'area'.
Ex: size of node,..

Is that a bug or is it meant another way?

Sirius copy and paste the semantic element of the selected
node/edge/container.

Then the new node/edge/container is computed from the VSM and if
required a new graphical element is created regarding the paste context
(another container, another diagram editor with same or another
description, another session, ..).

The new graphical element is created with the default properties defined
in the VSM.

Note that you might use the "Make same size" and "Apply appearance
properties" contextual actions.

Feel free to report a bug concerning this [1]. Sirius might try to do
better.

Regards
