Hi,

I downloaded the source code of EGit and imported into eclipse as maven project.i wanted to run and test this project.

why:
I want to add my source to EGit, which should validate commit message.Where can i write a code to validate commit message?

Hi,

validating the commit message in EGit is not a good idea.
Use the already existing and more powerful concept of git hooks. Especially the commit-msg hook. You can find a lot of information about it in the www.
