Hi.

I installed Papyrus using the oomph successfully.
But after importing Papyrus Sources from Local Git Repo I see over 13,000 build errors.(See https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=1067053&goto=1697170&#msg_1697170)

I did clean and restarted Eclipse as recommended by https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=1067053&goto=1697183&#msg_1697183 , but it still shows the same errors.

I will post all the pictures what I did to get Papyrus Development Environment, so I can learn what was wrong.

Please help me out.

22. Over 13,000 errors after finishing build.
index.php/fa/22054/0/

23. example of errors relevant to QVTO
index.php/fa/22055/0/

24. example list of errors relevant to Java type
index.php/fa/22056/0/

It was a long story.
Please help me out.

And I think it would be far better I can get more specific Papyrus Installation Manual than the one in https://wiki.eclipse.org/Papyrus_Developer_Guide#Development_Environment.

I appreciate for any help.

Hi,

QVTo errors are mostly expected (QVTo has difficulties to handle multiple EPackages in the same Ecore model). These errors won't have any impact at runtime (because QVTo is interpreted, not compiled).

"Papyrus Compare DIff" errors are also expected, as it is not supported/deployed anymore. It is recommended to simply close this project. Can you please show some examples of some other errors?

Camille

Has a Bug been raised for this? It doesn't seem right to me.
