Yes, it will display what is given in the "Label Expression" field.

No, there is only one label expression field. However, you can set an
expression that combines several properties of your semantic model.

In fact the label is aligned left/center/right but the inner text area
is centered. This is more obvious with a smaller text and an icon as you
can see in my screenshot. However, it sound reasonable to have the same
alignement for the inner text as the label widget so you can raise a
bugzilla.
