Hello,
I am an Eclipse newcomer and am experiencing an issue that I need help with. I am using the Aggregation tool to help calculate standard deviation for a specific column of a report I am creating.
When double checking my results, I realized the Eclipse output was slightly different than the numbers I had calculated by hand. I realized that Eclipse when calculating the standard deviation was treating the underlying numbers as a sample as opposed to an entire population. I need the STDDEV function to treat the data as an entire population rather than a sample. Excel has two separate functions, STDEV.P and STDEV.S. I looked around in help and settings but could not find an answer. Has anyone else experienced this before?
Thank you in advance.
John
