Error retrieving "feature.xml" [error opening zip file] [message #322724]

Junior Member

I get this error trying to do Software Updates: Find and Install. I get
the error twice, but I can't tell which feature is causing the problem.

How can I find and fix this problem. It seems to be preventing me from
installing new features.

Could be an unpacked feature installed in your eclipse/features directory.

Check if eclispe/features directory contains any feature in a
non-directory format (i.e. jar, zip, etc.)

Check if the workspace error log helps. You can find it under
/path/to/workspace/.metadata/.log
