Hello Guys,
I have a Ganttchart split into Sections and every event I add, is spaced of a fixed gap.
This behaviour is causing troubles if the number of events is too huge since every section is expanded consequently. For instance if on a timespan of one hour I have 20 events in the same section, such section is going to get out of the standard perspective boudaries (because too large), making that chart look gross because of the scrolling bars activated automatically.
What I'm looking to do, is to reset the initial space (space from the top of each section) every 4/5 events drawn on it.
Here you'll find an example of what i'd like to implement.
Where should I start?
Thanks

Hi Wim, I don't know if it's a real bug...
It depends how the development has been conceived, probably I can tweak it up with the AbstractSettings and obtain what i need.
That's why I haven't filed a bug yet. Do you think it's better to shift this talk to bugzilla?
Anyway, how is the event's height calculated?

Hi Gianni,
Ow, ok. I thought you were on a roll and wanted to fix the next bug
Please take a look at the gantt snippets. If it is something that you can configure it should be found in the snippets. The gantt also has a tweakable demo in the nebula perspective.
Cheers,
Wim
