Hi,

I'm trying to automate an iOS application using Jubula in Mac. While creating the AUT configuration, I gave the iOS Device Port as 11022 which is the default number specified in the Jubula documentation. (see attachment)

I connected to the "Embedded AUT Agent", Then clicked on "Start AUT" button. But I always get the error code "5009: AUT Start failed. Please check AUT Configuration."

I tried Googling it and didn't get any valid solution for the iOS AUT. Since I am new to Jubula, please help me in moving forward. Confused

Thanks in advance.

Balaram.

Hi Balaram,

Have you taken the steps as described in the user manual on setting up your iOS AUT for testing? What version of iOS are you using?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alexandra. I have followed the steps as described in the Jubula User manual for setting up the iOS AUT for testing. I have tried with iOS 7.1 and 8.1...

Thanks for the information! Can you add the rc_ios log (which you can find in your home/.jubula directory)?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Balaram,

after reading the log, it seems to me that either the Port is occupied or the device is in another Network. Could you check that?

Best regards,
Marcel

Hi Balaram,

here is an answer from one of the team members:

after reading the log, it seems to me that the port is occupied and/or your device is not in the same network. Could you check that?
Best regards,
Alex

Thanks, Alexandra and Marcel, I will check the same and get back to you... Smile

The thing is, I am using the USB cable of the device to connect with my Mac. So is the network really significant here? Or does the connection work only by using the WiFI network?

Thanks.
Balaram.
