Hi,

Is there order in which elements are displayed in the model explorer the order in which they are saved/serialized?

More precisely, I have a set of CallEvents in a ProtocolContainer (Package) and when I reorder them in the model explorer and save the order in the .uml file seems to be the same as in the model explorer. Is this so or was it just luck?

Hi Patrik,

All elements are ordered "by implementation" in EMF, even when the collection is not ordered in the metamodel. So, the order of the ModelExplorer always reflect the order of the serialization (Except when the A->Z button is checked: it sorts the model alphabetically on the ModelExplorer display only; the model is not changed)
