Hi
Pending a reply by someone better informed:
Papyrus aspires to comply with the UML specification, specifically UML
2.4.1 today. The UML 2.5 Beta specification [1] is much more readable
and in principle unchanged, so referring to it, you will find that
Messages are defined in and around Clause 17.4.3. The argument of a
Message is a ValueSpecification, so you can define it in your favourite
language.
OCL is perhaps the most common language and some Papyrus support for
that appeared in 0.9 (Juno). Much more (State Machines and Profiles) is
planned for 0.10 (Kepler). However Messages are not currently targetted.
OCL 2.3.1 [2] clause 7.8 describes the intended support for messages
(beware obvious typos; not everything was well-reviewed).
