Print Unicode on logs/catalina.out [message #986133]

I am developing a web application (Ubuntu/JSP/JAVA/Postgres). All the unicode contens can be seen properly into JSP and postgres. When I print apllication server log using ..apache-tomcat-6.0.18/logs/catalina.out The unicode characters can not be printed (printing only ?). Please help me
