Eclipse dependency resolver? [message #96042] Fri, 19 August 2005 14:57

Using Eclipse 3.1, I set my "Target Platform" to a directory loaded with
about 700 plugins. Some of them do not get recognized by Eclipse because
of missing dependencies (other plugins missing). Is there some utility
that can help me locate just the actual missing plugins? Realize some of
the plugins are actually there, but they don't load because of missing
dependencies. So I need something to help me calculate which plugins are
actually not physically on my machine and also some dependency tree (so I
don't have to track down missing plugins I don't actually need).

Eclipse seems to show me nice information about plugins loaded into the
development environment when I select the plugin.xml file, but its not
helping me with the plugins loaded via the "Target Platform".

Thanks,

Scott
