One thing I have noticed is that if you open the bigger outline "view"
and then close it thios behaviour goes away.

Try this

Ctrl-O - select method -- now you have folding editor
Navigate/Show In/Outline - outline view
Close outline view -- no more funny behaviour

Oops found my problem. I accidently push the toolbar button called
"Show Source of Selected Element Only". And Eclipse did what it was told.

What is funny is that I cant find this "option" on any other menu other
than the navigate toolbar.
