Don't know if this helps, but I've found that if you're viewing a report in
Internet Explorer or in the Preview pane in eclipse, you can right-click on
a table and export it to Excel. This basically uses IE's standard
table-to-excel export facility, so it's not very advanced, but it works
quite well for simple cases.
