Dynamic columns in BIRT [message #941097] Fri, 12 October 2012 04:06 Go to next message

Hello!

I started to create reports with BIRT a few days ago using the eclipse report designer. I recently created a report and want to add dynamic reports.

As an example, imagine a report that returns the quartal year incomes in columns. What I want to do is to add a [+] or a similar symbol that modifies the column into three new columns with the months of this quartal year, closing the quartal summary.

My question: Can this be made using the report designer, or do I have to code it? If coding is necessary, do you have a favorite tutorial for it?

Thank you for your help!
