Using the 1.1M2 build, I tried the tabbedPane Functionality test.
1) When I dropped a JFrame on the tabbed pane, the whole editor pane
went white. No tab appeared.
2) I wanted to see whare the JFrame was, so I highlighted it in the bean
window and clicked on the border property editor. The editor came up
blank. Frame only. There was no way to close it, or to get back to Eclipse.

The M2 works with RC2. The problem was that when M2 went out RC2 was not
available yet. Our tests show it is compatible with RC2. We will be
updating the download page to say this.

I am using RC1 because the VE download page seems to only have a version
that works with RC1.
However, today it works. Part of the problem may be that I had Xerces
XML: jar files in jre/lib/ext, and they stopped the help server from
running, for example.
But when I opened the tabbed pane demo project code in the VE, the beans
view and property sheet did not appear. They did appear after I switched
to and back again
