Hello,
I am very new to birt.
I have downloaded it on my local machine the open source version to try it out.
I am using tomcat to host the reports
So I can access the report when I use this link
//localhost:8080/WebViewerExample/frameset?__report=Report\OrderDrill.rptdesign
where this is the folder
C:\...\...\apache-tomcat-7.0.29-windows-x64\apache-tomcat-7.0.29\webapps\WebViewerExample\report
and orderdrill.rptdesign the report I have created..
But once I put this on a server for end users I can't expect them to put in this direct link for different reports.
How can I create a folder or a page where different reports are listed and they can click and use the reports.
Right now if I try this link
//localhost:8080/WebViewerExample/Report/
Folder on my PC:
C:\...\...\apache-tomcat-7.0.29-windows-x64\apache-tomcat-7.0.29\webapps\WebViewerExample\report
it gives me the following error
"HTTP Status 404 - /WebViewerExample/Report/
type Status report
message /WebViewerExample/Report/
description The requested resource (/WebViewerExample/Report/) is not available."
