Thanks for your reply.
I am using oracle 10g apps server which allows us to open our application in browser. I am able to open a report developed in oracle designer in a browser as html or pdf format.
I want to replace reports designed in oracle with BIRT

Regards

The BIRT runtime contains a viewer that can be deployed to an app server. Have you tried to setup the viewer? I assume you can hyperlink from your form app to the BIRT Viewer.

Let me try to setup the viewer. I am new to BIRT and found it impressive.

Hi Jason

Can you please tell me about how to install Tomcat. In its documentation, its written that it can easily be installed by Windows Installer, but I don't find any msi file in "apache-tomcat-7.0.30"

Regards,

AS

If you just download the tomcat zip and unzip it to a directory it is technically installed. Just cd to the bin directory and run the startup bat file.

I am not that familiar with Oracle app server. Have you tried to deploy the war file in the BIRT runtime using the Oracle console?
