Ant View hangs from time to time [message #89553] Wed, 27 August 2003 08:14 Go to next message

We noticed that eclipse (probably due to the ant view) hangs pretty often
in version 2.1.1. Although I cannot really reproduce it (although it
happens around 5 to 10 times a day) it seems that it is heavily related
when you double click on a target in the ant view. Did anyone ever noticed
the same situation?

best regards
Stefan

Thanks, Darin.

We downloaded the supplied fix (although some have called it a bit ugly)
and since then it seems to be much better.

BTW, I had looked through the buglist but didn't find this one.

Thanks again!
Stefan

Stefan,

Are you able to try out Eclipse 3.0 and running Ant in a separate VM?
That's the best workaround...
