Hello,
I am trying to record a test scase using the Automated GUI test tool.
I start recording and switch to the application I am trying to test, which
adds a menu to the menu bar.
If I select any menu item from the menu bar and then terminate the script I
get a dialog with the message:
'An uncaptured error occured while attempting to generate the macro. The
test case will not be created, try a different sequence of UI actions'
Clicking OK in this dialog ends the recording and no test case is created.
I can record fine using other menus or using the same functionality but from
the right click menu in the application window.
So does anyone know why I can not record from the menu which appears in the
menu bar?
Thanks,
Ian.

Can you run Eclipse in a command window and copy and paste the stack trace
that is printed when your run through your use case?
Hopefully the stacktrace can give me a clue of what is going wrong.
Thanks,
