Exporting Dynamic Images From BIRT [message #880106]

We are generating an employee "eCatalog" that displays contact information, a picture of the employee pulled from an online source and a QRCode image that is stored in our database.

While all shows well in the BIRT Viewer - there is a requirement to provide "hardcopy" for the "eCatalog" so that customers and internal folks can see who the Subject Matter Experts are and what they look like as well as using the QRCode to import a vCard to their smartphone.

IS there an enhancement in the works or a plugin that can doe this task

Mike,

How do you see this working? When the report is viewed do you want to
write out a copy somewhere?

Two Items

Have upgraded to Indigo and BIRT Viewer 3.2.7 and using JRE6

What we would like to do is create a PDF or Powerpoint package that looks something like the attached file which is a screen shot of what is in the BIRT viewer.

I have obfuscated personal information

Can you just export the report to pdf or ppt?
