I'm interested on how to integrate mylar to a (currently) unsupported task tracking system. There are RCP-style calls that I can make to acquire data, and authentication isn't done with standard HTTP auth, so I need to do a bit more setup work than the generic web connector allows for.
Is there any documentation on how to go about writing your own Mylyn connector?
Alex.

Hi Werner,
Help would be *very* welcome there. The more that we can get
integrators to help with documentation the more that the committers can
focus on API and UI. Please note that "better to ask for forgiveness
than permission" approach that we encourage for wiki doc contributions,
since we review all changes.

Hi Alex,
Its always great to hear about new connector development.
An integrator's reference is available at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Mylyn_Integrator_Reference
I believe it was updated based on some hand-porting of existing connectors
to the new tasks api in Mylyn 2.0. Contributions back to that wiki are
always great to further clarify integration steps, etc.
As the wiki points out, there is also now an integrators mailing list for
Mylyn, which is a great place to ask questions if and when you hit any snags
in hooking up the new task repository.

Except its headline, the content still seems pretty much covering older
releases of Myl(ar)yn ?;-)
Will this be updated at some point?
I'm not a direct code contributor for Mylyn, but I provided many
suggestions and reported bugs, so I'd love to help with those docs, if
help is required there?
