reserved word for EMF classes ? [message #86632] Wed, 20 December 2006 08:19 Go to next message

next question:

I have a strange behaviour in my gmf result. Having a ecore model
containing classes "Screen" and "Loop" extending the same base class.
When I setup my gmffmap to refer to the loop class as domain element for
the node mapping: the palette of the gmf diagram is empty except the
selection tool. Everything works fine, if I use the screen as domain
element. The reason can't be the gmftool or gmfgraph, because I can use
both screen tool and loop tool and as well screen figure and loop figure.

Are there any known limitations regarding the domain element class name ?

We do convert domain model class and feature names to valid java
identifiers wherever possible though there may be some holes; 'Screen'
and 'Loop' are quite valid so the problem should be somewhere else (((
