Hi there,
I've been experimenting with M3, and so far I like what I see. I'm
particularly fond of the content-assist for custom taglibs.
However, I've noticed that some features seem to rely on the project being
located in the default workspace. For example:
1) the "New->J2EE Web Project" wizard won't work if you try and modify the
"project location" field within the wizard.
2) The JSP custom taglib content-assist won't work unless the project is
located within the main eclipse workspace. To reproduce this, create a new
J2EE Web project in the workspace, close it, delete it (but don't delete
contents), move the project folder out of the workspace and import it. Now
JSP taglib content assist won't work. If you repeat these steps to move the
project folder back into the workspace, it works again.
I hope someone finds this useful, as I was tearing out my hair trying to
figure out why it sometimes worked and sometimes didn't!
Mike
