Automated GUI test of workspace-plugins? [message #84198] Tue, 26 September 2006 10:19 Go to next message

I am trying to figure out if it is possible to launch an automated gui test
for a plugin residing in my current workspace (but not in the workbench i
use to develop it) without deploying the plugin under test first. To me it
seems that the runtime workbench started by the tptp does only inlude the
plugins specified in the PDE target settings (which are by default those
that are included in my currrent workbench) and no local plugins residing in
the workspace I want to run the test from (even if the plugin holding my
testsuite defines dependencies to those plugins via its MANIFEST-file). Any
ideas?

Best Regards

Yes, AGR doesn't honor the plug-ins that are included in the workspace.
There is an enhancmenet opened to allow developers to test plug-ins included
as part of the workspace:

Thanks.
