Need to execute code while installing software [message #842569]

I created an update site which includes a plug-in project as well. Now I want to copy from a file in the project to a folder in the local system. I want this happens while or immediately after installation of software automatically. Please let me know if it is possible. If yes how?

I tried to use org.eclipse.ui.startup but did not work.
