When I attempt to launch the Web Services explorer through eclipse, I
receive an error that says:
"The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive
A: and make sure that a disk is inserted and that that drive door is
closed."
Then, I must end eclipse via the taskbar because the message will keep
popping up even if I press cancel. I don't have a floppy drive on this
machine, and therefore, no valid A: drive. Why would the WSE be looking for
the A: drive anyway? In any case, is there another way to launch WSE, like
perhaps a command line?
Thanks,
JF

Hi JF,
I believe the Web Services explorer is actually a web app using a internal
bundled tomcat server. So it's probably not easy to launch it in command
line.
What build are you using? M3? Did you install the Web Services related
jars? I usually launch the explorer by File -> Import -> Webservice. And
it's working fine in a Linux laptop without a floppy drive.
Cheers,
Raymond

Raymond,
Thanks for your response. The problem was, I don't have a floppy drive, but
I still had an A: drive reference in explorer. So, I just disabled the
floppy drive through device manager, the A: drive disappeared and everything
works now.
Thanks,
JF
