Webtools an Mac OS X? [message #77735] Sun, 27 February 2005 11:12 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I'm new to the Mac platform and I just downloaded Eclipse SDK, GEF, EMF,
JEM and WTP/WTP-WST.

But when I install the GEF or EMF tools, Eclipse wouldn't start anymore.
And I get an error:

"Could not find framework".

Does anyone run webtools on Mac?

What is the installation procedure?

Thanks
Oli

It does work on the Mac OS X. I have it up and running. Have you
installed all the plugins? Did you try running in the terminal using the
-clean option?

One thing I had a lot of problems with over the weekend was I kept
overwriting my Eclipse directories. This sounds like some directories
are missing, so made something got hosed up.

HTH,

With new hope I just tested to extract all archives with shell commandos
(before I did it via StuffIt).

Now it works pretty fine.

I think StuffIt is the one to blame.

Anyhow, thanks,
Oli
