"teardown" to clean application's database? [message #776913] Mon, 09 January 2012 09:16 Go to next message

Hi,

is there any way to clean application's (not Jubula's) database after test?

Our app provides some irreversible functionality (e.g. we can create objects, but we can not remove them from database). After test we need to clean database directly
via SQL.

Data removal should always take place - after success as well as after failure.

Cheers,
Mike

Hi,

You could use the "Execute External Command" action to execute e.g. scripts that perform the necessary actions on the database. Search for "Execute External Command (Application)" in this file:
http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/topic/org.eclipse.jubula.client.ua.help/html/reference/node13.html

Alex
