Disable automatic structured builder ? [message #76749] Fri, 25 February 2005 04:19 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm getting tired of having my .project's updated
with

<buildCommand>
<name>org.eclipse.wst.sse.core.structuredbuilder</name>
<arguments>
</arguments>
</buildCommand>

when its a project for which I dont want the structuredBuilder.
If I go and disable it it simply just add another one and so it goes ,)

Is there a way to disable this automatic addition the structured builder
so I wont add a builder that is not needed and not available to all the
projects developers ?

The builder was disabled in M2 and will not be brought back. Its
primary use was to detect Task Tags in Web and XML files and we plan
to rewrite how that's done in M4. If anyone on your project is
still using M1, the easiest way to get around it is to upgrade to M2
or, when it's ready, M3. Be sure to use the correct Eclipse SDK for
the WTP milestone.
