No SWT visual layouts - just beans [message #75325] Sat, 18 December 2004 08:51 Go to next message

Hi,

When I create a new SWT Visual class extending Composite all I get in the
Visual Editor is the beans icon and a warning saying Widget is disposed. I
can't seem to get any visual representations of the components forming my
GUI.

This an SWT only problem - it all works fine with Swing.

Using JRE1.4.2_05
Eclipse 3.0.1
VE 2.0.1
GEF 3.0.1
EMF 2.0.1

Any suggestions - no doubt I'm missing something obvious...

Thanks,

Tony Machin.

Two questions:

1) Are you using JRE 1.4.2 as the java for your project too (i.e. from
the JRE Container in your project)?

2) What OS are you on?
