Hi,
Nick Edgar and I (from the platform team) are giving a tutorial and a talk
on the topic of RCP at JAOO. For that, we've built an RCP app and we would
like to demonstrate the charting and reporting capabilities of BIRT.
In the set of tutorial provided, I found a lot of information on setting
data source, but none of them seems to be a datasource where the objects
are from a plugin.
Therefore my question is: is it possible with BIRT to write a report which
will get its data from a plug-in?
If so, would there be a sample somewhere?
Thank you
PaScaL

PaScaL,
All of the datasources in BIRT are implemented as plugins.
That said, if you are wanting to use the scripted datasource and get data
from a pojo that is in a plugin for example, that can be done. All of the
other datasources are implemented as ODAs in there own plugins. I can help
you with an example, just let me know what you want.
