Hi,

As it appeares, it is only possible to add connections to the diagram, so for every connection the coordinate system is the one from the diagram. Same holds for bendpoints.

Is it possible to add connections or bendpoints to containershapes?

That is not possible. Connections are always children of the diagram, it is
not possible to add them to container shapes.
