Folks,
This has been reported to me by three of my friends from different parts of the world. They are unable to search for stuff on Eclipse marketplace. Searches fail with an HTTP 500 error. This has been ongoing since Friday July 29th at the latest.

Is this a known issue at this point? Is there a resolution or a workaround?

Hi,

I have the same problem. Here's the error I get :

Query failed to complete
MarketplaceDiscoveryStrategy failed with an error
HTTP Server 'Internal Error':
h ttp://marketplace.eclipse.org/api/p/search/apachesolr_search/maven?product=org.eclipse.epp.package.jee.product&os=win32&runtime.version=3.7.0.v20110110&client=org.eclipse.epp.mpc.core&java.version=1.6.0_22&product.version=1.4.0.20110609-1120&ws=win32&nl=fr_FR
HttpClient connection error response code 500.
