Breakpoints not visible when remote debugging [message #703256]

I'm using Helios (Service Release 1) on Linux (Ubuntu) to attach to and debug a running Java process (I have the source files, but the application was NOT created as an Eclipse project). Specifically, under "Debug Configurations >> Remote Java Application", I created a debug configuration that connects to localhost:8000, specified the path to the source files, and clicked "Debug".

It is sort of working in that I can set line-breakpoints that will break as expected on the proper source lines. HOWEVER: The source-file window shows no visual indicator of the breakpoints (i.e. no blue circles to the left of the corresponding lines). Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
