I'm asking this question for the third time now, but maybe meanwhile someone
has an answer.
I have built a nice little GMF editor. Unfortunately my model has many
non-graphical elements, too. For creating and editing these elements it
would be best to have an extra page or view in my GMF editor showing the
generated EMF editor (like in another tab, like the various views of the
EMF editor).
Another possibility would be writing hundreds of dialogs, actions and
commands. But I'd prefer to avoid this by simply using the EMF tree view
with it's ready-made creation features.
I took a look on both the EMF and the GMF Editor class, but I'm not so used
to EMF/GMF yet and couldn't figure out howto combine these two. I would
appreciate every help that you can give me.
thank,
tobias

I would like to import ecore models into my GMF model and be able to edit
them in place via a custom view. What you are trying to do sounds similar.
