p2 director problems without running the target application [message #689875] Tue, 28 June 2011 10:24 Go to next message

Hi,

I have successfully created a repository but I'm quite unable to create an installation using the director.

I've checked the options many times and find nothing wrong but still the director will only create the p2 folder with contents in the installation location and continue to do absolutely nothing.

I uses this command :

./buildPlatform/eclipse -application org.eclipse.equinox.p2.director -repository [MY REPO] -installIU [MY IU] -destination ./product -p2.os linux -p2.ws gtk -p2.arch x86_64 -profileProperties org.eclipse.update.install.features=true -consoleLog

Any ideas on what might be wrong?

What IU are you using? Where did it come from? Is it the ID from your .product file?
