Integration of EMF.Edit Item Providers? [message #696841] Thu, 14 July 2011 19:25 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm wondering to what extent Papyrus integrates EMF ItemProviders into the provided diagram editors? For example, do/can IItemColorProvider be used to color a class element in either the Ecore or UML editors? What about for containment and references? Or would it make more sense to use straight GEF providers for that sort of thing?

cheers,

Miles

After looking at things I bit I realized that this question is really a GMF issue. And the answer seems to be no, unless one were to lash up some kind of EMF wrapper for GMF model objects.
