How to go to function definition in Eclipse: JSP file [message #689802] Tue, 28 June 2011 07:44 Go to next message

This is a straight question. In Eclipse for Java files, I can go function definition by ctrl+left mouse key. But how to do the same in JSP files?

Is there any plug-in or is there any other way?

You can grab the Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers [1]. This will give you the ability to ctrl+click navigate to referenced methods--among other things.

I think I am not clear.
I want to know whether it is possible to do the same in .jsp files. I know that it is possible in .java files.

"Only one way to find out." ?

Well, two, as I can say that it should work--provided that you're
referring to something on the same project's Java Build Path.
