How to prevent perspective switch [message #685319]

Hello everyone
When a user selects a perspective I want to do some validations first. Depending on how those turn out I don't want the user to allow to switch to this perspective. Kinda like in Eclipse when you first run it and it asks you if it should switch to the Plugin-Perspektive or not. In my case I just wouldn't allow the switch at all. Does anyone know how this would/could be implemented? I haven't found any listeners that could help me with this nor anything else.

Hi Serge,

did you try addperspectivelistener in the workbenchwindow? You can also
consider to program your own perspectiveswitcher instead of letting eclipse
control this.
